- ReGo Sports Therapy -
Supporting you to keep going, time and time again.

Clinical Assessment

The assessment is an important opportunity for you to outline any pain or injuries that you are experiencing. During this I will ask relevant questions to get a detailed understanding of your lifestyle, sporting interests and diet.

Following our discussion I will perform a variety of movements and functional tests with you to ensure we understand the root cause of the problem.

This can last up to 20 minutes and will inform the best ways to treat you.

Advanced Sports Massage

Sports massage is the manipulation of soft tissue like muscle, skin, tendons, ligaments and fascia to help reduce pain, tension and assist in the treatment and rehabilitation of injuries. The therapy can help correct imbalances in the soft tissue caused by strenuous and repetitive movements.

Sports massage has physical, physiological, neurological and psychological effects on the body’s systems.

Injury Rehabilitation

Injuries go through various stages of healing. Whether it's an acute injury like an ankle ligament sprain, or a chronic injury like tennis elbow which has come on over a period of months, it's important we treat each phase appropriately, at the right time to get the best outcome.

This will mean doing the right types of movements that will progress as pain reduces and range of motion and strength improves.

Injuries don't always occur through sport!

Injuries occur in various circumstances, and you don't have to be a sports person to benefit from this therapy.

Tennis Elbow, for example is a chronic injury which affects the forearm tendons. This is an overuse injury that many non-sporting people experience through repetitive movements.

If you're experiencing pain then get in touch. I'll be happy to discuss it with you.
